Impact & Strategy
Consulting for investors and institutions working at the intersection of capital, sustainability, and purpose. Phaida advises on impact strategy and ESG integration, investor readiness, and ecosystem building, alongside high level counsel on sustainable investments.
Phaida started with this work in 2018: a UN backed accelerator on inclusive digital identity, decentralised infrastructure projects, and an impact fund. Since then the firm has worked with impact focused founders and with organisations building in sustainability, emerging technologies, and responsible innovation, helping them structure, grow, and put themselves in front of capital on terms it recognises.
The advisory work draws on deep knowledge of valuation, ESG investing standards, sustainable finance ecosystems, and international best practice, applied to embedding sustainability as a core dimension of long term business performance.
Because the firm works both sides of that relationship, guidance to a company is calibrated to how institutional allocators will actually assess it: which benchmarks apply, what evidence they expect to see, and where a strategy is most likely to be tested. The output is board level guidance on long term value creation, not impact measurement and not framework design consulting.
Phaida also acts as a strategic intermediary, originating opportunities and bringing the right counterparties together. The role is origination and introduction rather than transactional execution, and Phaida takes it on selectively: only where the fit is genuine and the combination creates value on both sides.
The firm’s project history reinforces both the impact and strategy focus and a bridging role: connecting companies, projects, and sponsors to institutional investors who apply their own standards, and who are screening for what is commercially viable, value creating, and properly governed.
Getting a company to that standard is the work: a strategy the company actually means, that satisfies the investor’s screen, holds up with stakeholders, and remains workable for the people who have to run it.
